Highlights
Built for Sound
The Q9x features a professional dynamic mic capsule that is optimized for capturing vocal performance. The cardioid pickup pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection while minimizing ambient noise, making it ideal for use in untreated home studios. An advanced humbucking coil reduces the pickup of electromagnetic (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) as well as any hum or buzz from other equipment. A mid-boost circuit switch gives extra presence to vocal frequencies when engaged.

Broadcast Power
The Q9x is housed in an aluminum body with an integrated yoke mount that allows it to be attached to a boom arm or desk stand. Inside, a shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical noise that could be radiated through the body, while an integrated dual-layer grille and removable foam windscreen minimize annoying pops and plosives for clear, professional sounding broadcasts and recordings.
One Mic Does It All
Equally suitable for a podcast studio, broadcast booth, or recording rig, the microphone easily connects to almost any standard preamp, mixer or audio interface with its standard XLR output. The Q9x can handle greater than 140 dB SPL, making it the ideal tool to use for any source, from quiet acoustic guitars, to screaming vocalists, to snare drums, and even blaring trumpets.
Just One Mic Does It All
The Q9x is an extremely versatile microphone for recording vocals and instruments in a studio environment. It has a smooth, warm and natural sound that makes it ideal for a wide range of recording applications. The Q9x features a cardioid pickup pattern that helps eliminate off-axis noise and sounds, making it an excellent choice for recording in a controlled environment such as a studio. It also features a switchable midrange boost, allowing you to tailor its response to the specific needs of your recording.
